Demonic Pact not/rarely procing

Problem:
Im a demo lock, and I have been noticing lately, especially on the Lich King fight, that Demonic Pact rarely procs. My typical actions are when the fight starts, apply CoE or CoD, send in pet, hit Metamorphosis, and then continue with my "rotation". On most other fights, Demonic Pact procs almost right away, is there anything I can do to make it proc more often?

Have someone in the raid click off Divine Spirit. Known issue that's been fixed and broken a few times.

Could you clarify this a bit more.

/ra Buff me single-spirit please

This is my macro - i use it after every buff-phase.
After a few Raids your priests will get used to it.

Yes. Way back in the day Divine Spirit had an Improved Divine Spirit that gave spell power. This has been removed, but for some reason, every now and then, Demonic Pact will not apply because Divine Spirit is active.

If someone removes their Divine Spirit buff (clicks it off), Demonic Pact suddenly starts popping on people. My guild had a shaman who simply macro'd /cancelaura Divine Spirit into his main actions.

If Demonic Pact is not proc'ing, this is likely the cause.

Confirmation from original poster:

I just verified last night that the Raid wide spirt buff is the cause. I clicked it off myself, and Demonic Pact would proc everytime the pet went in.

Cleaned up the thread, stickying and locking for an indeterminate amount of time. I will update once the bug is fixed.

Unlocked for 3.3.3. If you continue to have this problem, please for the love of god post here and the official bug report forums.

They know the bug exists, but it needs to be reported every patch.
