Abyssal Bag (32 Slot, Soul Bag) - What will happen to it?

Just a small thing on my mind.
As they will remove Soul Shard for Warlock in Cataclysm.
And we get a permanent Soul Shard system with cooldown insted.

What will happen to the Abyssal Bag for example, one of the Soul Bags that are made for Warlocks?

On a personal note; It took me some effort and alot of gold to make this bag for myself.
I would not love Blizzard if they just took it away!

It's a blue wotlk bag, so I guess it'll be "transformed" to the equivalent quality normal bag aka 22 slot glacial bag. That would feel the most logical to me.

Quivers will face the same problem in Cata when ammo is no longer a consumable. When blizz increased the stack size and moved the haste bonus directly to autoshot itself, pretty much everyone stopped using them anyway... but they are still out there, including a lot of people who dropped the money on a 28 slot (never went up to 32).

Converting them to a bag makes sense (22 slot bag for the top end ones, 20 slot for the mid range, etc.)

Remind me what happened to hunters quivers when they changed arrows to stacking in 1000. Oh thats right you got to keep them and they serve no purpose since they no longer increase your attack speed. So something like that where theyre utterly useless ???

They will probably just stay as they were and just be a vanity item to say you have it, like rogue's blinding powder when it was changed.

If you're an Ebonweave Tailor, it'd take you a week. Two cooldowns. The mats are easily farmed and regardless of what happens in Cataclysm, you still need a healthy supply of Soul Shards now. Not in six months. -Now-.

Because you can still use it, tho it's pointless. Quivers can still carry ammo, etc.

But a Soul bag?
Can no longer be used at all.
Soul Shards won't excist.

You will have a bag that you can't put anything into at all. Hello? Why the silly replies back trying to compare this with a bag that CAN contain stuff even tho it's not very useful, at least it can contain something.

Why do people act dumb? You will in Cataclysm have the first bag in the history of World of Warcraft to not be able to contain anything.

People use soul bags? You rarely need more than 6 shards and with afflic being the top dps spec, you'll always have too many and be deleting them.

I figure they'll just be useless, reminders of what you used to put up with.

I could care less what happens with this bag... and if you are crying over the costs of this bag, get in touch with reality. It's not hard to obtain, its not really that expensive if you just buy it or the mats, and even if it is to you, it doesn't take much to get that amount of gold together. I'll be happy about the freed up bag slot.

But, I do like the pet idea. WTB pet bag.

You can't have more then 32. Thus why would you be deleting shards? It's not like you can get over 9000 in your bags.

Do you have any idea how many spaces 32 is? If you're not using a soul bag, having 32 of them is like having over 9000.
