I'm getting so tired of that spam, man, it seems like these days you can't offer to help for a quest unless you can link an achievement or a 5.9 gs...

Whispered to a 25 man voa spam yesterday told him I had a 5k ap unbuffed DK with all ICC experience and he replied back that I was obviously a noob if I didnt have the VOA achievement...told him I had it on 3 of my other 4 80's, he said it doesn't matter....

So sick of it.

It's because we are not Jesus, noone in a MMORPG cba to trust their neighbours, teach them and help them if they fail. They want things done for good and fast.

And I agree with that. Even if I sometimes find myself in helping some newcomer, I usually cba to enter a 5man Daily and having to explain to people what's the aggro or what's a CC

Errr, no. Your unholy and frost will be about the same. Blood gets significantly more +str talents and bladed armor on live.

So as frost, I have about 4.6k AP, as blood I go to about 5.5k by only switching out my weapon.

Download it, use it, love it. Just don't go linking the guy some 25men hardmode stuff. Start low, link 1st wings. If possible link him the achiv from the upper/lower braket. So if he want 10 men ICC achiv, link the 25 men and viceversa, so when you clear the wing and you get the actual achiv, he won't rage you lied to him.

As far as the OP, this is not elitism this is a scrub denying another scrub. Elitism would be kicking you out of the raid for having herbalism.

Why don't you just run with a different group? If the RL is a fool, then he's a fool whether he asks for an achieve or not. Get to know people on your server, make friends outside your guild, build your reputation, and you won't have to pug with people you don't know or like. If you know the people who normally run VOAs and other pugs, a whisper is enough to get an invite. I'll tell you, I see the same message over trade on my server, and I just ignore them. I've never once linked an achievement, nor will I ever, but I still get all my raids done for the week, and have to turn down a few invites as well.

He doesn't have to know if you want 10man link 25 and the other way around

On my server no one asks for achievements or GS for VoA, well most dont and those that do just get ridiculed in trade so I guess im pretty lucky, any other raids tho then an achievement is asked for. At the end of the day, if things are so incredibly bad on your server that no one will invite you without an achievement then run your own raid.
