Im at 34% casting speed unbuffed with no proc's so I am over global cooldown by about 2%. Can I make my casts even faster? Is there a haste casting speed max

I am at 1200 haste raid buffed (no proc's) and my AB's can go down to 0.9 sec during a fight

And there is no way you are casting below 1 second without procs or buffs.

You'd need ~5k haste to be GCD capped from gear. No why is that possible.

With proc's, 2pT10, BL/Hero etc, you can be capped during an encounter. That's when you start staggering your cool downs instead of stacking them.

With all that being said, i fail to see the actual question. 1s is the lowest GCD/Casting time you can have, period.

No he couldn't be... the GCD is 1.5seconds, you'd need 50% haste to reach the 1sec GCD cap and he stated he was at like 34%... I'm guessing he was under the assumption that 100% haste = 0sec cast time, instead of casting twice as fast, since under that logic, 33% haste would put you at 1 sec GCD.

Please everyone, learn how haste works.
