Popular gaming website The Escapist is running their March Mayhem Developer’s Showdown 2010, in which 64 of the world’s games creators are pitted against each other. Readers will vote for their favorite developers in a series of head-to-heads. To show your support for Blizzard, you can head over and vote – but don’t delay! Each round only lasts 48 hours, and the first started today, March 17, at 9:00 AM PDT.

EDIT: Blizzard is losing! FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT AND DESTROY BIOWARE! We all know Zynga will later on plow through Steam once the Farmville kiddies roll in and vote. If we get even 1% of the Blizzard community we can win by a landslide! We must defeat Zynga, and to do that, we must defeat Bioware!

They're all shitty, but Valve is the shitiest, followed by Blizzard (and pretty much anything owned by Activision) and then Bioware.

edit: i also forgot to add ironclad games. cause one of my favorite games was sins of a solar empire.

My Round 4 predictions.

North: Turbine vs Rockstar North. I think Rockstar will just edge out IF in round 3.
West: Nintendo vs Blizzard. Both are virtual shoeins. The only threat is Bungie beating out Blizzard, but I cant see it happening.
East: Valve vs Capcom. I dont know, Bethesda does good work, but I dont see them polling highly again Capcom. Capcom have a big fan base.
South: Bioware vs ...i dunno, relic? South seems to be made up of 'The Rest' with no real standouts. Bioware basically has it made to a round 5 showdown with Nintendo.
