So, I decided to pug a VoA group with my alt.

We try Toravon, and fail by 1.5mill, someone pops up the dps charts.

There's a hunter, in toc 10 and 5hc gear, doing...1.8k dps. In a 25m group. On a static boss.

How, for the love of all that is holy, do you do that? I was pushing 3k-3.5k dps as mage with heroic BLUES in 25m. Can someone tell me? Cause I've lost all hope for humanity at this point. :S

Possible reasons:
Wasn't using Steady Shot.
Was AFK.
Had Viper up and doing one of the above.

In last weeks lockout I saw 3 players in 232-245 gear (almost completely) doing around 1-1.6k, and then the rest of them, all with similar levels of gear as a mininum struggled to do 2-5k, I was doing 9k, the joy.

Most likely just has no idea how to maximize dps while switching targets. I'd be REALLY worried if this was on Korolon though...

If only he didnt spawn those pesky orbs that ranged gotta switch to Not saying 3k is alot but he is only static for melee classes.
