extra 2 points after ia is gone

I was wondering what would be more dmg mitigation 2/3 prismatic cloak for 4% dmg reduction or 2/2 magic absorbtion, please only post usefull information

MA is the more useful, in that it returns mana when you resist, and resist the full amount of the spell. This is far more damage mitigated than that of a static 4% reduction. The ladder may be better if you were constantly receiving damage in the form of something other than magic.

P.C. is a straight 4% damage redux all the time, however that's all it grants you, aside from a faster Invis.

MA equates to about 12% less magic damage taken. PC reduces ALL damage by 4%. The only fight I can think of PC being better is saurfang.
