Patches ago when Frost DW was buffed, peoples weapon setup would have FC on MH and RI on OH. Seeing from those 2 DK's in Paragon they hace RI on their MH weapon. What is the point of this since the buff goes up faster than ever now.

It really doesn't matter and they are likely attempting to be unique snowflakes.
Prior to 3.3.3 there was a chance for RI to fall off your enemy more often if it was enchanted to your OH. So they were probably still working on the same assumption even though they changed it so RI should now just go right to your OH, although it really doesn't much matter.
they have RI in their MH because RI causes 2% extra damage as frost similar to necrosis. so naturally you would want RI on your hardest hitting hand to juice as much dps out of it as you can.
Actually the damage RI does is based on your mainhand, regardless of which hand the rune is on. Same with blood-caked blood.Originally Posted by docdoom
RI does deal mainhand damage regardless of which weapon it's on, but BCB deals damage based on the weapon that procs it.Originally Posted by Pikatrap
oh i see. thank you for the clarification. disregard my other post.
Weren't BOTH of these "features" fixed to proc damage depending on weapon proccing it around totc patch?Originally Posted by Praxis
