Are Death Knight Affected By the Hybrid Tax?

Just was wondering if we are affected by?

When you say "Hybrid Tax" I assume you mean do we do less dps than "pure" classes who can only dps? I would say yes, not as much as i've noticed other classes have to deal with.

My guild raids usually have the dps ranking like this

1. rogue
2. rogue
3. blood dk
3. unholy dk
5. arcane mage
6. arcane mage
7. hunter



I have noticed our guild always has atleast one of our dk's be in the top 5 spots even though they are a hybrid. I would say we are indeed effected by it, but not as much as some other classes are.

(i put both dk's at #3 because we are always about equal )

I'd say DKs are currently 3-4th out of DPS classes. Rouges are obviously top, Mages are second, though being ranged has it's taxes, same thing with hunters at 3rd.

The only thing "Hero Class" actually means is:
You start out at a level other than "1".

If deathknights are affected by this I find it hard to see it tbh. But as long as I´m not playing it as main (or seriously as alt) I personally don´t mind all that much.
