    Re: Unholy PvP

I certainly think a sticky would be a good thing, it's just that pvp is an immensely large topic. You have 3 different major specs, as well as minor specs which are variations of the majors. To top that off some specs perform well in BGs but suck in Arenas and vice-versa. There isn't really a 100% right way to pvp. What works for some people may not work for others, and specs many think to be terrible may actually be good in the right hands. It might be better to just have 3 separate stickies titled Blood, Frost, and Unholy PvP discussion respectively.

    Re: Unholy PvP

Perhaps more-so a PvP discussion topic? It would avoid a forum space and consumption with a majiority of folks' questions, and we could list... say popular specs + pros and cons on the first few posts.

Yeah, I'm gonna work on this.

Also @Yuron, Boubille runs this whole site, from a look at his armory he doesn't even play too often. Also the heads of alot of the threads at Elitist Jerks aren't exactly top 250 guilded.

I'd rather keep the discussion within the DK forums, you know, so it can be moderated with the iron fists of Elektrik, Zoa, and me.

Bibi has been known to play lots of alts

Lol, I meant it stay here, just a little misunderstanding.

I do have alot of alts, and alot of want to understand other classes, in fact I got most PvE specs memorized, along with my characters <3

What do you guys think of this:

4% dmg from ror is suprisingly little, my only concern is dirge, but my druid(2s) specced to revitalize so shouldnt be that much of a problem

    Re: Unholy PvP

As of right now, Unholy PvP specs are pretty diverse at the moment and have a lot of advantages to playstyle for execution.

I will list some very viable specs that a lot of people use and myself.

    I use:
    http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#jZMGx...dgfuz0ucqo:cLb

This spec is a max Runic Power regen that focuses on more Death Coils being launched. I play in Blood Presence at the moment with it and Chains of Ice glyph over Disease as I am not a fan of the disease glyph in PvP -- even with the changes to Unholy Blight.

    2nd Unholy spec:
    http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#jZMGx...dGfhzbucqo:pLb

This spec is another max Runic Power regen that focuses on more Death Coils being launched. This spec is to be played in Unholy Presence (Gargoyle haste) and I found that using glyph of Disease actually syncs well with this spec, but CoI is just as viable.

    3rd Unholy spec:
    http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#jZMGx...dGfhzbucqo:pLb

This spec is a Corpse Explosion build with Imp. Unholy Presence and actually quite effective. I do not suggest this spec to all Death Knights as it isn't as reliable as you may like it, but if you got a great macro for the explosion on your ghoul it supplies fantastic burst. Pestilence, Ghoul and Dark Death for glyphs. =)

    4th Unholy spec:
    http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#jZMGx...dTfuz0uIqo:pLb

Mm..the Shadowcleave build. This build uses Wandering Plague and should be played in Blood Presence. With the changes to Unholy Blight, it allows you to very easily refresh and spread diseases doing a lot of 'cleave' damage. Remember -- Blood Presence for best results.

    5th Unholy spec:
    http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#jZMGx...dgfuz0ucqo:pLb

This spec is for you Death Knights that just love On a Pale Horse -- personally I find it kind of bland, but it is a useful talent and I suggest running in Blood Presence for this spec.

Didn't notice this in the post before. Uhh, OAPH isn't bad, but IUP is better. The stun duration thing is... minor at best, and from what I remember there used to be an argument between speccing for one or the other.

That's not my point, my point is that you don't have to be experienced to be knowledgeable.
