Elemental PvP issues

Figure here would be a good place I am a PvE'er that raids (as resto) in ICC...but I am in the process of learning to PvP as elemental...so far very fun, but having some difficulty with silences. It seems that when I get nailed, I am completely powerless...no heals, no Ghostwolf etc. Even the spells that only kill one spell line seems to mess me up. Is there anything I can do to counter/help reduce this issue? or is it just something I will deal with in PvP.

Remember that you still can drop your totems when you're silenced / interrupted, so that mite be a good time for you to use your defencive totems

omg...I did not know that...(sigh) I also noticed I dont have the stoneclaw glyph...so replacing that as well. bah

I think he means no Ghost Wolf so he can turn tail and run to survive during silence duration.
