BE or Troll?

So i recently rerolled troll from undead for the berserking buff, however i also recently dropped a prof for engineering for the enchants it gives (haste to gloves and rocket boots)

So i am thinking and i was hoping anyone could help me out here. Should i reroll BE (undead is out of the question, been an undead since release and i'm never going back).

The arcane torrent is nice, but i never really go oom, im running with a Solace and im always bubbling the raid, getting mana back from Rapture and my guild also does have a nice amount of innervates/mana tides in an average raid. + my shadow fiend and i am also an alch, so crazy alch potions and hymn of hope. I don't think 20% attack and casting speed (ON A 3 MIN COOLDOWN, which is what is getting me) is worth it for, i believe 6-8% mana back every 2 min.

Any advice?

If you're running Solace, you could drop Solace for an IDS/Abacus with the advantage given to you by Arcane Torrent.

Troll for Shadow, or for PvP (even PvP shadow?). Blood Elf for Holy and/or Discipline.

if you care that much about you're racial go BE. arcane torrent is alot better than any haste you can get seeing how primarily most spells that a disc priest (i can only assume you're disc talking about rapture and such) uses are instant spells. Arcane torrent becomes alot better if you can use it when you have your hymn buff up (the one that gives you an extra percent of mana), and if god forbid you can get two priest to use hymn of hope at the same time, depending on your mana arcane torrent can give you several k mana back. Thennn again, who goes oom these days.

and for the record abacus is horrible as is, you might as well do the smart thing and get heroic solace and the badge trinket. Abacus gives you maybe 30k extra healing over a several minute fight and i'm talking about the extremely long ones. i'm not sure if it even gives that much extra healing.

And you can always race-change then. People who are asking on forums aren't wanting to decide based on looks, so who cares what you think is cooler? If they wanted that kind of advice wouldn't they ask about animations, or just not ask at all and go with whatever they liked?

I don't think there's anything wrong in saying that the person should go for what she/he thinks is "cooler", since there's chances the racial abilities will be changed in Cataclysm. Some people prefer looks, while others prefers racials. What is wrong about that? Obviously the original poster also cares about looks, since she/he thinks Undeads are not worth being anymore:

racials are my priority. the reason im 'never going back' is because i was them for so long and their racial is almost useless in a PvE environment compared to BE or Troll.
