Why does the horde always attack the side gate in IoC?

That's the side the glaives come from, and they can shoot down from the hills. Also not as many cannons there.

This is why in IoC when I angrily ask in chat why no one is attacking the glaives destroying our gates, nothing happens. I never thought all the alliance retards never actually knew what I was talking about.

Attack from the front and the enemy see's you.

Attack from the side, and you win BG's.

It's a hard concept to grasp, that only the highest of arenajunkies,bgnubs,pvepros can understand.

Actually this tactic is used by both factions, where you can destroy the side gates without being hit by turrets at a confortable spot ;D

Because if you attack from the front, the base will cleave you. IF you charge from behind, it will do a tailswipe.

glaives behind cover hitting side gate + catas launching some people inside for huge seaforium bombs = 10 min or less horde victory

Half to the docks, half to the workshop to keep allies from having demos to use on our gate, maybe someone to go up and flip the airport flag just to piss you all off, and we win.

I was under the impression that the front gate had more hps than the sides. That seems to be the consensus for our bg. I could be wrong however, we rarely win IoC in my bg(wonder why?) so I rarely play.
