How much DPS should i be reaching?

What kind of DPS should i be getting on single target, AoE situations etc?

And any suggestions to improve? (Other than get better gear of-course)

I got you pulling 6804 dps (+/- 30 dps) in a tank n spank type fight.

6.7-8k fully raid buffed, get glyph of the ghoul and glyph of Icy Touch for a 200 DPS upgrade.

Get a good rotation if you haven't already.
10crit 10Str gems in Yellow sockets with a 4+str bonus or better.

I've always thought the +20 str was better, are you sure?

str/crit for yellow sockets, if the socket bonus is at least 4 str / yellow socket.

If an item has yellow + red, +3 str bonus, then 2x20 str. If 4 str, then str/crit + str.
If it has two yellows, then you need a +8 str bonus to socket 2xstr/crit, otherwise it's 2x20 str.

You get the idea :P

ae is situational and impossible to judge just look at the people you run with and try to be competitive.

Depends on how many mobs are in the group. For trash pulls in 25 ICC, I range from 11k to 18k as DW Frost. (or if we do some crazy pulls, I'll push 23k) It always comes down to how well we group the mobs and how lucky I am with RIME procs ^.~
