Re: scam... what do you think

Here's a sure way of seeing that one of those mails is a scam

Step 1: Find the link they want you to go to
Step 2: See if it goes to www.wow-europe.com, www.worldofwarcraft.com or www.blizzard.com
If it does not, it's fake, if it does, see step 3.
Step 3: Mouse over it and see if it sends you to the same site as it says it does. If it doesn't then it's a scam

Also, logging in on that website with something like account: dawyhgdjawgbdjawbd and password: hawdhawiudh and not getting an error might give you a clue. Though following these links is not wise to begin with, especially if you don't have the FF noscript plugin.

EDIT: Ow yes, and if the site you get sent to to log in is a http:// it's also a scam, secured logins are https:// and blizzard always uses those.
I just got what Falric is talking about in HoR.
Men, women and children... None were spared the master's wrath.
    Despair... so delicious...
    Fear... so exhilarating...
Clearly, he was referring to the cataclysm class previews.

Re: scam... what do you think

Blizzard will suspend your account and then email you about it.
So try to login and if you can its fake.

I got my account suspended for using an american credit card on a europe account and didn't get an email till the day after it got suspended.
