What do you expect from demon soul when

you consider the damage possibilities of the death knights "dark simulacrum"?

Do to the lack of imagination blizz in regards to lock cata changes, I suspect they will tie into the current "demonic empowerment" or "master demonologist" buffs.

So in other words, I expect to be disappointed lol.

I expect it to be a DPS cooldown, but it wont be a times %increase to some stat/dmg, it'll be more like a Molten Core proc with X charges and does something to a specific spell in order to adjust your rotation slightly.

I expect Dark Simulacrum to be nerfed or removed entirely.

I expect Demon Soul to be a dps boost for Imp and Felguard. I expect it to be a defensive cooldown for Succubus and Voidwalker. I expect it to be a gimmicky utility tool for Felhunter.

Imp/Felguard would be a basic +damage mechanic.
Succubus would be a magic reflection or absorbtion effect.
Voidwalker would be like dispersion
Felhunter would be something like "Your felhunter also casts what you cast, lasts 3 spells" or something equally weird.

Demon Soul will either be OP or UP and/or only useful with 1 demon.

Since the Dk will take the damage of the spell, no it wont be removed otherwise they would remove spell reflect as well.

To clear some stuff up

Dark Simulacrum (level 85): The death knight strikes a target, applying a debuff that allows the death knight to copy the opponent's next spell cast and unleash it. Unlike Spell Reflection, Dark Simulacrum does not cancel the incoming spell. In general, if you can't reflect an ability, you won't be able to copy it either.

So basicly you dont reflect or react on a spell/ability.
It yust applies an debuf on the target that will triger on the next spell cast of the debuffed target.
DK uses Dark simulacrum @ target -> Target cast spell x -> DK unleashes spell
I think the next time the DK uses Dark Sumulacrum the spell will be unleashed.
