View Trade Chat Anywhere - Spread the word!

Trade chat can be spammy as hell but I do find some of my best deals there when I can manage to sift through the junk.

I use trade chat to buy items to flip (like battered hilts) find new suppliers for cheap bulk herbs/gems on a consistent basis and also find desperate sellers/buyers who'll pay double price or sell for really cheap.

Unfortunately trade chat only works in town, but with the addon tradeforwarder you can <a href="http://www.wowconfidential.com/wow-a...r-addon/">view trade chat in any zone</a> like BG's, Arena, Raids etc.. so you won't miss any gold making opportunities.

Given the nature of how the addon works, by broadcasting the trade chat from people who have the addon installed currently in town to others in different zones, it becomes more useful the more people who have the addon. So help me spread the word!

I think it could be argued legal OR illegal, depending on how you look at it. Illegal how you say

But it could also merely be seen as creating a new channel. While I don't necessarily think it is ( I've never even heard of this addon until now), it seems to be a mixture of both.

Can bet alot of money that this might be banned by Blizzard due to:

1) Not really the concept of trade channel.
2) Too much information flow between every single player. The information curve will rise exponentially with every player there is, if everyone are broadcasting to everyone.
3) I hope this gets banned.

Anything you can do with AddOns is allowed, unless it lets you communicate cross-faction.

This addon does the same thing like asking someone on your friends list who is in a city "Anything interesting going on in /trade?". But on a much more regular basis and a more efficient way.

Don't know about your server, but on mine, many pugs (voa, icc etc) are formed in /2. I have missed a lot of those just because I was on a twink or in a bg. I will definately give it a try!

That's misleading.

1) There's a lot of things you can do with addons which could break the Terms and Conditions - or certainly there used to be and I doubt that has changed much.
2) Blizzard never tell the person being banned or anyone else why they are being banned if its for a technical reason. They used generic wording such as "unauthorized third party program". You can imagine the reason why, of course: they are not going to help any new hackers!

So, how on earth would you know that no one was banned for using an addon? ....

Yeah, because you never have to visit cities to view the AH, buy reagents, repair, or access your guild bank, right?

Sounds like a great idea to me. I don't see how this could be banned. It's like copy/pasting trade chat but without the hastle of having to use Prat. If you don't like trade chat, you don't have to use it. It's very simple

Please also note: He said this is to VIEW trade chat. You obviously can't send chat back to a zone you're not in. You can only send tells for stuff that interests you. Use your brain.
