Does anyone know what they mean when they say like "last four weeks of the qualifier?" what is the qualifier? Is it just like the first several weeks then who ever "qualifies" continues in the tournament?

200 000 in total, very little ,they prob collected all the change lost in sofas at blizz hq and offered that.

Or if 10,000 people sign up they break even on the cost of the prizes.

Everyone should note that Goblins and Worgen not being at the Argent Tournament is the "short, simple answer." I'd imagine that there will be a similar area in Cataclysm that allows players to gain the titles "of Kezan/Lost Isles/Bilgewater" and "of Gilneas," either introduced at release or in a major content patch later, but they don't want to get into the specifics yet.

It's great that we have a chance to display and test our skill in a tournament type setting, but seriously the prizes are really rather weak compared to the obscene amount of money blizzard / activision is raking in each and every month from this game...

God forbid Blizzard subsidizes the prize pool to something like $1 million per region... I mean if it were that high they'd still be putting up less than a percent of their monthly profit... 200k while still a nice amount of money for simply playing a game is nice, but I think they could do a little bit (actually A LOT better) than such a small amount for one of their tourneys... 75k to the top team is like what... An hour of profit for blizz? Not to mention that with the $20 entry fee everyone who is paying to even be in the tournament will more than makeup for the 200k they are throwing up as prize money.

So how they manage it? Do the 1000 best 3vs3 AND 1000 best 5vs5 Teams get the title? I would also like to know if the title becomes permanent or if you only keep it until the next tournament (like Arena titles except for #1 Gladi).

Well not in all EU country are the tournament avaliable but
I could most likely win this championship cuz i'm an imba lock fearlocking everyone.
