Is Prot PvP still viable?

Hey All!
Im just curious into thinking if prot pvp is still viable after the nerfs, I was prot before the nerfs in arena, and it was... pretty awesome. So maybe the shield slam crits wont be as high due to the nerfs, but can u tell me whetever its still viable or not?

Well you can but since hitting 2100 BV isnt hard you just dont haqve that much of it

Its good but nothing compared to the overpoweredness that Protibution (0/51/20) paladins are at the moment.

it takes far more skill and Good use of focus macro's and fast decisions to play as Prot pvp than arms as you rely very heavily on chain interrupt/stun/silencing healing to get a kill on anything.

3's with holy/arms/Prot is pretty fun.

Is there any special spec for pvping as prot or is it just a normal tank spec?

Prot in a bg is viable.

prot in arena is not.

Some favor safeguard for Arenas, but I don't really do Arenas (I'm a casual PVPer), so I went with Improved Spell Reflect. Just depends on what you're into I guess.

ofc it is.

I destroy nubs in pvp as prot with minimal resil gear. It is still:

a. fun
b. awesome
c. fun

As far as arena, I have no clue, i dont waste my time on that shit.

Yes it is, and it's very easy all you gotta do is gear for max shield slam dmg and have at it!

Prot warrior pvp is still very viable. It doesnt have the diversity in comps as arms does but I still see many prot pvp warriors. mm/prot/hpal or prot/arms/hpal are some of the only comps i see at high ratings.
