5200GS would put him on an average of totc25 / 10

I just say the GS because it influences the spec. I mean, if you have say....3k GS you might want to go unholy, if you're at 6k you want to go frost. I switch spec based on my GS or nerf/buffs to the spec.

Stats are more important than the score of the gear. Say you have a ton of ArP on your gear. THen you obviously should go blood dps no matter what 'gearscore' you have. Or if you got a bunch of haste, which is not useful at all, but i would say frost is the one spec that might actually benefit more than others. Read up on the web, and see what stats you have rather than gearscore.
