Who doesnt love the heirlooms, awesome weapons, the best armor you can get till very late in the leveling process, adapts when you level, and a 20% experience bonus too. Sounds pretty nifty to me.
However...
After leveling a warrior till 80, I was glad that I didn't have to look at the Valor stuff anymore, 80 levels of the same gear gets old really fast.
But a couple of weeks later I wanted to level a paladin, and you guessed it, the best gear to use...is the Valor looking heirloom stuff.
Sigh, I loved the valor looks, and most of the heirlooms but after a while it just started to look dull and boring.
There are some very nice designs in both vanilla and TBC (the recolors were pretty good) and even the spikes in wotlk look ok-isch.
So I thought, why not implement experience enchants on shoulders and chest? Like the shoulder enchants from the sons of hodir. They should cost about I dunno 5 Triumphs.
That way, you can still switch around gear but not lose the exp bonus that everyone likes.
It would not only be benifitial for looks, but also specialised stats, like a decent gear for holy palas, or caster dps or tanking gear (polished valor is not that great for level 70+ tanking).
What do you think?
