Sorry to hijack the thread - asked this on another thread, but didn't get any answers... was hoping if someone could nudge me to the right direction.
I currently have two choices concerning ArP and I have no idea which way is better:
Choice #1, Use Needle-Encrusted Scorpion (with Banner of Victory) to get capped during a proc.
Choice #2, go for 1150-1200 passive ArP (that's the highest I'm able to reach with my current, not-so-good gear) by gemming full-on armor penetration. This way I would be able to use Banner of Victory with DMC: Greatness and ditch the shitty NES.
Which approach should I take? I hate NES's proc (or the unreliability of it) so I was wondering which approach yields the best result. For some reason I just can't make Landsoul's spreadsheet work in OpenOffice, so I can't use it as a resource. :-/
So, is 1150-1200 passive armor penetration all the time enough to yield better results than being soft-capped for 10 seconds every minute or so? Any insight to this is highly appreciated.
Here is my armory. The gemming is still STR to reflect the soft-cap approach, but by regemming everything to +20 armor penetration the 1150-1200 is reachable. What should I do?
