    NOT AGAIN! EVER!!!

    Attunement system that was in place in vanilla and TBC was horrible in all aspects. That system was nowhere near lore-based attunements suggested by a poster above, the friendly "teach & reward" approach. They were hard-code blocks that forced you to go through more or less painful experience (TBC ones were definitely on the painful side) of getting attuned.

    Like I said dude: reimplement without being as harsh as the TBC ones

    do like 6 heroics to get into kara

    do around 100 heroics to be decked out enough for icc 10 maybe..?

    i dont see to much of a difference

    How about instead of attunements while you are leveling in a zone you will find a questline talking about the raid, it will lead to a questline in the raid itself for a good reward but you dont have to do it to enter the instance. So raiders would want to do them for the reward (reward could be anything from vanity items like a larger bag, to actual epics or both), and you would end up making about 1000 gold from each questline. So there is a major reason to do it, but it isnt blocking you out of content.
