    They don't do it litterally.

Also, ITT, Americans who think they actually win the argument, and Europeans who makes fools out of themselves, because most things they accuse others of are omni-present within europeans as well.

I blame religion. Religion discourage intelligence.

But I think Americans in general, with very few exceptions are more ignorant about Europeans rather than Europeans being ignorant than Americans.

Me? I'm from Yurup. What I think? There are better things to argue about.

ITT. Generalizations, people who don't understand what a generalization is and people who find singular evidence that the generalization is untrue, thus apparantly disproving the whole thing.

The similarity between the Goblins and Ferengi did not escape me. However, how the Ferengi were called by Data in the first episode we saw them in TNG ?

All these replies are new and original. If you need to argue if a culture is more stupid or anything else, over the internet, you may need to look in the mirror.

It is because every Sensible American wishes we were Dutch,English/British,French and most of us would even settle for being Canadian.

Simply put using the Majority wins political structure is a complete failure for us because the majority wants to do the right thing morally speaking instead of doing what is actually needed for this country to thrive during this new century.

In my opinion what this country needs is Government owned businesses/factories/farms that employ everyday workers the goods would of course be used here in America and Exported for the $$$, this of course would give the government the much needed cashflow to take care of it's people.

Ignoring the vastly offtopic flame war...

Yes, I think the goblins are a humorous side-swipe at the stereotype of the US Oil Magnate type, just as the Gilneans seem to be the "stiff-upper-lip, old-chap" stereotype of the Victorian Brits.
