Actually, I hate to say this, but it'd make sense if I dunno, Thrall sacrificed himself to close the Maelstrom.

He has the raw power of the Elementals surging through him, and to call on every single force of nature to close that may cause his death.

I dunno, just a thought.

It's said that Sargeras' power is ALMOST equal to the closing of a portal. So I highly doubt Thrall of all people has the power to stop a storm made by the closing of a portal. I mean..really? He couldn't even beat Mannoroth.

Well, Garrosh is the second person in charge in the Horde. The Warsong Clan is the strongest one if I'm not mistaken, and Thrall probably promoted him to not cause inner conflicts, when he had to leave. Or Garrosh just claimed the position of the Warchief when Thrall got kidnapped.

We have to remember that one of the orcs Thrall was closest to was Garrosh father.. I think Thrall have great plans for Garrosh.. imagine a scene.. Maybe a Deathwing attacking Orgrimmar scene where Garrosh finnaly come to his sences? We've been surprised before!
