Pitbull 3 or 4!

ok so ive been trying to sort my priests UI out now for a few hours and i can safely say i am getting annoyed fast now

so ive got pitbull 3 set up beautifully only thing is if there is another spriest in the raid or group it tracks there debuffs to and apparently there is no way to stop that on pitbull 3 i have to use 4

so i went to 4 after much annoyance and figuring i have to use different layouts i got that working sweet but hey its still tracking other shadow priests dots and no matter what i do it doesn't work, sometimes it stops working all together and show's everyones debuffs.

I just want it to show my dots and my dots only i'd prefer it to be with pitbull 3 over 4 because i really hate 4 right now <.< if anyone has any info or tutorial or advice i could really use it

Pitbull only knows how to filter out debuffs based on your class in its current state. If you really want it to be broken down to just *your* debuffs, then use something like Satrina's Buff Frames and create a new debuff group with filters in place to only show your debuffs.

It's really simple too just go to target>debuffs and enable them if i remember correctly.

then just move them wherever/whatever size you want.


I know how you feel too i hated pitull4 too but xD i just got used to it when i redid my ui.

Unfortunatly soon enough, due to cataclysm coming you will need to learn to live with pitbull 4 due to the lack of further development on 3.

Layout editor -> Aura tab -> Filters subtab -> Default debuffs, mine

ok so i had to do some advanced settings but its working

now im stll having trouble with it showing mind trauma debuffs i had to make the auctal debuff.
i got rid of it showing misery,mind flay ticks but not mind trauma i did the same thing i did for misery,mind flay so i dunno:P

It's been a while since I've done this but on my warrior I know my debuffs show up larger then other debuffs on the target. I use pitbull4 because it is better and is still supported and updated. Not to mention pitbull4 is easier to use once you figure it out.

like yeah my only issue now is its still showing mind trauma when ive told it not do could anyone provide a screen shot on how to get rid of this it's definetly clicked off like misery and mind flay but its still showing

if i click misery,mindflay back on they start showing again so i know im definetly doing it the right way :S i took some screen shots to show what i mean

With them all turned off but Mind trauma is still showing

Anyways you get the point but i just want to know am i doing something wrong because i have no clue why mind truma insist's on staying up there it didn't with pitbull 3 :S
