I have high hopes for world pvp in Cataclysm.

Many zones that were pretty much one-sided will be more balanced, with enemy outposts sitting really close to each other (as Holycola pointed out in another thread). Confrontation will be inevitable.

Now, what really has me thrilled is the situation with Ashenvale and Southern Barrens.

Having played a night elf for a long time, I feel compelled to go to Ashenvale and kill as many horde as posible to make things right and kick them out of MY forest :P . And I´m pretty sure many horde feel the same way about Southern Barrens.

I know the old Hillsbrad Foothills pvp style is gone, but I really hope both factions answer this "call to arms" and contribute to spice up a bit our world pvp.

I'll probably give the alliance npc's in the southern barrens some new holes yes, destroying my beautiful camp, and almost invading my home, damn you people! As for during questing etc, only if they attack me first//ninja my mob.

Of course. I will get on my horde toon and kill the alliance. Then get on my alliance toon and kill all the horde. Then put on my Deathwing costume and fly away. :P

Southern Barrens and the Andorhol in Western Plaguelands are just a few of the places which is obviously going to be where the PvP is going on, and also the whole theme with Garrosh and Varyann (spell?) not being the best friends, and buidling up for a major war.

I'm just hoping that there will be the same kind of World pvp with 100+ players going on, just like it used to be, between Ashenvale and Crossroads before the Battlegrounds ever became a part of WoW. Seriously 60+ hordes attacking Astranaar in ashenvale every night, where at least 80+ alliance are waiting for them to come, only to be fighting on the road for hours and to finally make the horde fall back to Crossroads and then the fight will go back and fourth like this.

Youll either love it or hate it. I guess youve never been camped for 2 hours in old classic wow so you dont know how it used to be in classic :>
