will druids ever get a new form?

i heard they are giving you a new form in cataclysm. it kinda depends on race though...

it will be night elf form for resto druid night elves, tauren form for resto druid tauren, worgen form for resto druid worgen, and troll form for resto druid trolls.

i could have sworn i heard them say that tree form will be a CD ability, and we will actually have druids in humanoid forms in cata. you can finally show off your armor!

Increases your speed by 40% and puts you in stealth. Can only be used while out of combat. You can not attack while in this form.


Kind of a stealth travel form without beeing able to attack.

Logic has not part in what you just posted.

1: Just because two other classes have free mounts, it is not a logical jump to assume druids will get a free 100% speed form.
2: The other three classes that have a 30% speed increase pre-20 (Hunter, Shaman, Druid) Have nothing to do with the free mounts.
3: This is the Warcraft Universe, the cheetah isn't the fastest animal.

It is pretty logical for druids to get a 100% ground speed form as warlocks and paladins have their mount. But they already have a cheetah as a 30%? increase. There is no animal faster then the cheetah, and thats why I dont think druids will get 100% ground form

Regarding other 100% ground mounts not faster then a cheetah, they are just on steroids...

The forms we have are fine, i just we could change what animal we change into, same abilities for each form. Just you can choose a different animal.

Take the stance of the turtle, while in this stance you will wear a shield on every arm, leg, your head and your back. You can not attack but are immune to damage. You will now serve your team as a mobile pillar (watch out for dogs!).
