When I read about the frost resist gear... I asked myself why. Why do you want FR gear at all? the REALLY dangerous part is P3 and that is not about frost dmg, is about ARCANE damage.

You might want to go re-read the description of Mystic Buffet.

With over 400 frost resist our tanks said that they were resisting as much as 18k damage of the frost breathe in P3 which makes it that bit easier, also since they are resisting so much damage then there is less chance of them dieing from the melee hit after the breath.

i did it couple of times with only one tank with frost resist gear, and we are done long before he starts to take some serious damage

I take only 1 melee dps to ICC 10's.

That's just fail melee you have there.

You'll love yourself for that decision on H-LK. He's not very melee friendly.

I was surprised here, for some reason I confused and took mystic buffet as an arcane damage increaser, don't ask me why, not even I know. Thus my insistence on speaking for arcane damage.

But still, I don't see true necessity for FR gear, altough it would help. What I do is just use T10 4p bonus rotated with a normal CD on her breathes, having ofc FR aura up and tank rotation, and we have been doing fairly well. Will try with FR gear to see how much easier it will become.
