    Astromancer Navaarus

    Name: Astromancer Navaarus
    Age: 4815 Azerothian Years Old
    Race: Eredar, technically Draenei
    Gender: Male
    Class: Mage
    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Personality: Navaarus' most protruding characteristic is his insatiable thirst for knowledge. For him, there is no higher goal and he spends much of his time searching for ancient spellbooks and other arcane objects. He is a very quiet, intense individual, only speaking when necessary. He has little in the way of a conscience, doing whatever he deems necessary in order to achieve his goal at the time.
Likes/Dislikes: He dislikes unintelligent people, viewing them as barely worth his notice.
    Appearance: http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/7707/eredar.jpg
Strengths/Weaknesses: His strength is, obviously, his pure magical power and knowledge. This is also his weakness, as he can be swayed from his goal with a worthwhile tome or trinket.
History: Navaarus is an Eredar, born into the destructive Burning Legion. His parents were two powerful warlocks, who left him, like most Eredar children, on a Legion stronghold planet. His early years were spent learning all the manner of demonic magics. The cut-throat life of Eredar children taught him the truth that only power could keep you alive, and knowledge was the greatest power of them all.

This voracious need for knowledge propelled him through the ranks of the Legion as he grew in age. Over the years, he had grown more jaded with the stated goals of the Legion. Seeing more and more worlds destroyed just made no sense to him. All of the collective knowledge of all of those species that they killed was lost, forever. He began to look for a way out, for a way to destroy the Legion, to safeguard all that would be destroyed otherwise. Eventually, he found a way when he was given command of a Forge Camp on the shattered world of Draenor. He had heard stories of the Eredar that had escaped, and every so often he would have been sent to a world where they were said to be. He never imagined that he would find people who were successfully fighting against the Legion.

On Draenor, he managed to steal away from the Forge Camp one night, using magic to surpress the physical changes that constant years of fel energy had done to him. He wandered the Outlands for a time until he came across Shattrath City. He found kindred spirits amongst the Elven Scryers there, joining them in their fight against Kael'thas and Illidan.

He spent a great deal of time on Draenor, learning what he could, collecting a great deal of tomes as an agent of the Scryers. After the fall of Illidan and the restoration of the Sunwell, Navaarus decided that he would travel to Azeroth.

The blood elves would be able to sense that he was an eredar. All eredar are now purely evil and would not question Sargeras' rule; and since Sargeras was of the Pantheon, he almost surely knows of all the information of world he consumed.
Soviet Russia was merely a setback!

Eredar turned bad stay bad, all this 'man'ari eredar turned good' rubbish isn't accurate lorewise at all.

    Re: Astromancer Navaarus

The first thing I see wrong is your allignment. There is no such thing as Chaotic Neutral. The closest there would be to that would be Evil or Passive Evil.

The second thing I see which was a BIG no no is an Eredar going into Shatt. Even if you could get by the Dranei (which can sense it) and the Blood Elves, the Naaru would NOT under ANY circumstance not notice you.

The third thing is that you talked about him wanting to destroy the Legion, but then why attack Kael'thas and Illidan? They were AGAINST the Legion (Kael'thas was as well in the beginning).

The fourth thing I see wrong is the escape. You would NOT be able to escape the Legion and be free that easily.

Lastly is an Eredar would NOT find their crusade of destruction pointless. They joined the Legion to do that, they wouldn't leave because of it.
