Leveling boomkin with cloth heirlooms?

is this a valid way to quest level, due to the boomkin armor bonus wouldnt it be just as good as level approiate leather greens?

Also, im quite cheap and dont wanna have to grind for leather heirlooms, so inb4 buy leather heirlooms bro

I leveled my boomkin in the cloth heirlooms and never had any trouble with it.

The cloth heirlooms are very good for lvling a boomkin the slightly less armor isnt a big deal u usualy kill the mobs before they reach u annyways

Shoot, I remember using cloth as a boomey...And having 2 pieces of heirloom cloth certainly won't break your armor, as the mitigation is rather low between cloth and leather generally speaking, and you will likely have some leather pieces as well.

Not to mention that as a caster, things usually don't get on you anyway, so I say go for it (^.^)b

It shouldnt be a problem at all, alot of Plate users use Cloth too, because then every alt can use it, and because of the bonuses dosent make that big a diffrence.. Its all about the extra experience..

If you already have cloth heirlooms from some other char you leveled there is no need to get leather ones which have exactly the same stats except for the armor which isn't really that important.

When I leveled my boomkin I found the most important BoA gear is the Spell Power / Mana Regen on kill, is just amazing.

That's how I did it, since I'm cheap and don't like buying new BoA. Actually leveled as cat with those until I got boomkin form.
