    Just lie about your gearscore guys! Most RL are too lazy to check everyone out. As long as you do ok at your role and hide inside taurens while everyone is starting no one will notice your 219 shoulders :P

    the best way to stay in a raid as a low gear score dps.....challenge

    I joined a voa as a 4.3k gs fury, got kicked because 1 person complained taht there were 2 ppl below 4.5k. I pretty much said, wtf, it's voa tard.

    So I joined the next one, same complaint...I threw down the gauntlet - "Yeah, I am, so the fuck what...I'm the bar for dps, if you lose to me, you really suck." Raid leader couldn't kick me because actually wanted to see who I beat. I finished in the top 8. That got a huge laugh.
