I have an assignment for school where I have to find out what kind of Music players people use to listen to their music on their computer.

I would need different information, so that I can find out preferences in groups based on location, age etc.

Why did you choose it? Everyone I know IRL is using winamp for music playing, so I gave it a try myself and never looked back since.

What Program do you use? Spotify/Last.fm/iTunes (I can't really limit myself to one answer here).
Why did you choose it? Spotify because it's a great place to find new music and give it a thorough listen-through before deciding to buy it, Last.fm mostly for discovering new music and iTunes because it's the default music player on my machine, it hooks up to my iPod nicely and I never felt the need to switch it out.
