Soooo all i ever see these days are "tanks are D-bags"... I'M a tank, and if ppl want something extra in a heroic, or they need to be carried, im happy to do it, Are you?

The only thing that makes me a d-bag in heroics is when I yell at terrible DPS for making my life hard. Ex: Brohnjam in FoS...heals when a soul gets to him. We fought him for five minutes before I stopped kiting and yelled at them to kill the damn souls.

I have no problems helping out. Or even going for the achievements with pug groups, but the jerks are what get me. I am nice to you because I expect the same treatment in return. If not... then have fun with the group cause that is when all the "you pull em you tank em" and "slow or fast pulls" come into it. Respect gets respect. Rudeness... well lets just say I am not sorry for the repair bill you will now incure.

Funny enough after running on my DPS toons for a while I decided to hop onto my tank because I was tired of running with douche tanks that never listened to the group when they wanted a full clear. My second instance I was tanking and the healer and two dps left because "Dude, I'm not doing that boss." "WTF MAN!? SKIP IT!"

Funny how the table turned on me as a tank when I tried to actually clear an instance the normal way for all of the badges.

Also, a guild i have no connection with <Merinicus Fan Club> started and this one member was friendly to me, i started running him through heroics. Now he needs badges and if we go to Ahn Kahet ill say on zone in "Doing all bosses for my fanboy" and people always go "eurgh" and i always end up saying "Leave if you want as i dont need a healer here neither do i need your dps as i do more than you".

If people are nice to me when I'm tanking/healing/dpsing, I'll be nice to them in return. However if someone is being a dick and if I'm not in a good mood, I'll likely return the favor. With revenge.

There's nothing like a dpser who thinks his/her's supreme dps and gear transcends five man heroic tactics and party roles getting their arse handed to them in 2.4 seconds flat. Having them rage quit is the icing on the cake.

Why am I the D-bag for not wanting to go out of my way? Because of the fact that YOU feel that YOUR extra boss is more important than my TIME, doesn't that make you an equal D-bag?

I will NEVER run a full OK, HoS, or UP. That is it. All of the other dungeons I have no issue with. I always tell the dps that it will be a speed clear if it is one of those three dungeons, otherwise it's always full.

Skipping bosses doesn't make somebody a D-Bag by my standards but by yours it apparently does. Personally I think it's a real D-Bag move for somebody who is being carried to whine and cry about how he needs the extra badges. He brings less to the table than other people and has the nerve to get upset over getting carried.

On a slightly different note, one day a great dps and myself decided to help gear a newly dinged dps friend. We ended up in HoS. I started to clear toward the boss I never do and the healer and other dps who had queue'd together said "if you expect to continue to get heals you're going to stop pulling this trash and rush to last boss." At this point I guild chatted to my guildies to be ready to run. At the intersection with 3 groups of trash I deathgripped the guy in the furthest group. The healer and dps started it up and my guys started running, they were both killed and my friends and I were zoned out laughing at them.

Moral: Quit trying to tell tanks what they have to do.
