This is why.
While during the formation of an ICC25 pug a hunter shows signs of Hurpderpacitis.
Raid Leader: Why should I bring you hunter?
Hunter: cuz im gud i top dmg in bgs
Me: Not really that hard as hunter.
Hunter: ya well i top killin blows n flag caps
Me: Again, not that hard, you kind of just stand there and shoot shit while everyone else brawls.
The following happens through whispers:
Oh yeah and he tried using pvp to justify why we should keep him in the raid. We did keep him in the raid, he killed the Darnavan. The raid leader wouldn't reset the fight. The bow dropped, he wasn't allowed to roll. The mail legs dropped. He wouldn't have been allowed to roll had I not convinced the raid leader otherwise. He was actually kept despite him only pulling 4k dps and never being above 15th on the meters and not doing anything but shoot the boss.Hunter: yah but thats hard as a huntar cuz i dont have bubbles or healz
Me: Ok and?
Hunter: i cant do much when ur in my deadzone
Me: Wait... what deadzone?
Hunter: *Links Auto-Shot [5 yard minimum]* see!!!!!
Me: 5 yards is melee range.
Hunter: yeah but i only have like 3 moves for melee and only 2 do dmg
Me: Wingclip, trap, scatter shot, disengage, deterence, feign death.
Hunter: yah but u just bubble and stun me
Me: PvP Trinket?
Hunter: but i stunned a second time
Me: You mean Repentance? Breaks on damage. Master's Call doesn't work?
Hunter: well then idk maybe i should stick to pve
Me: Probably.
It was quite clear he didn't know what he was doing. You may think I was hostile but the hunter actually thanked me for our conversation.
During the run a different hunter has his pet run off into the middle of the first room of Marrowgar trash, pulling the ENITRE room. His excuse is "I was drinking idk why my pet ran off." He didn't "stick around."
Edit: Clarification, apparently we have some butthurt hunters who like to take things out of context and project.
