Rotface 25normal, resetting himself at 2% health

Five minutes ago, we had Rotface on 2% when he just disappeared.
Basicly he resetted, but with everyone alive.

Tho the RL, who was DCing alot, gave me Masterlooter and he stayed outside for this boss, he was fixing his connection. During the raid someone with an assist became the RL, because the old one was offline for a while, but the resetting occured a minute after that.

Group wasn't going very smoothly, and this kinda killed the mood

We actually had this a few times during our LK25 HC tries.
Caused a few chuckles, to bad it wasted tries though.

If he targets someone outside of the room for slime spray or the disease, he resets. You said your RL was outside the room.

Not that complicated, and not a bug.

If someone is outside and rotface targets them for disease, then he will despawn

OT: This bug happens with a number of bosses, and nobody has figured out why. It's as if the boss presses the FD button for everyone. I'd really like to see what a GM has to say about these, because it happens more frequently than I'd like although it's never happened at a bad time (the few times it's happened it was either a wipe already and people hadn't died and we got lucky, or we had just pulled the boss and it's not really important).

When you DC, your toon can stay there for a while... and can still be targetted. Just ask any tank whom has tanked while offline for any amount of time.

It's far more likely that this occurred than some conspiracy theory.

Its possible to stay logged in for awhile when you DC. It takes awhile for the game to kick you out.

Maybe you remember those times where you had to log onto an alt because your main was still online after a DC or server freeze.
Its possible that has happened.

Probably because of the RL, he may have logged back in near the end.

Best thing to do next time is to get him to stand in a slime puddle and die so he doesn't make a despawn
