    Elyaan Dawnstrider.

    Name – Elyaan Dawnstrider.
Age – Roughly 200 years old. No definite date.
    Race – Blood Elf.
Class – Mage, but since the restoration of the Sunwell, has taken an interest in holy magic.

Elyaan Dawnstrider was born a High Elf, in the wondrous magical city of Silvermoon. Her parents were quite wealthy and her very own father was one of the members of the Convocation of Silvermoon. Elyaan was always destined to work with magic, since her melee skills were never perfect, and she was awful at hand to hand combat. During her training to become a wielder of magic in Dalaran, she began to admire a High Elven prince who was also studying in the city. This prince would soon grow up to lead their people, and his name was Kael'thas. He never really acknowledged her, but she still endured. Unfortunately, he had his eyes set on another, a human mage by the name of Jaina. Elyaan knew she would break his heart, but she could not do anything about it, only endure and ignore. During her studies in Dalaran, her family and relatives were slaughtered during the fall of Quel'thalas. When Elyaan heard news of this incident, she left Dalaran and travelled directly to Silvermoon.

Upon reaching what is now known as the Ghostlands, she saw the true devastation which the Scourge had created. She had lost everything, her family, her friends, and her home. Infuriated, Elyaan pledged herself to the last remaining member of the Sunstrider dynasty, Prince Kael'thas. No longer known as a High Elf, she joined her new Blood Elven kin in restoring Silvermoon, and removing the remaining Scourge remnants. After this, she rejoined the prince, as he was now following duties under Grand Marshal Garithos. They worked together to defeat the remainders of the Undead, and with the assistance of the naga witch, Lady Vashj, it was an easy task. Elyaan had doubts about allying with this naga, but she trusted Kael’thas decision. However, Garithos then labeled Kael'thas and his elves traitors, and they were all imprisoned in the dungeons of Dalaran. Elyaan began to have doubts about this allegiance, as because of this, the Blood Elves had become enemies of the Alliance.

Not long after, Lady Vashj reappeared, and rescued the prisoners. Then, travelling through the portal which Archimonde left behind, they ventured to Hellfire Peninsula. Elyaan was to say goodbye to her homeworld, because as of now, their people were labelled traitors. With their new leadership of Vashj and Kael’thas, they freed an imprisoned Illidan, and Kael'thas now had a new master. She began having second thoughts about this arrangement, allying with a naga witch and a half-demon? Soon after this event, Rommath was sent back to Silvermoon with a message regarding a new home to Outland. However, there had been some mumbling within Kael’thas’s ranks: people were beginning to lose faith in their prince. Days later, Illidan had ordered Kael’thas to send a regiment to clear the Draenei sanctuary of Shattrath City. Elyaan was a member of this regiment, consisting of some of Kael’thas’s most powerful scholars and magisters, and they all marched on towards the Draenei city. Upon arrival, the guardians of the sanctuary were ready. They were to fight to the death against these invaders, for they would not lose their city again.

As they crossed the bridge into the city, Voren’thal, the leader of the regiment, laid down his weapons and demanded an audience with A’dal, the leader of the Sha’tar. Behind him, the remainder of the Blood Elves laid down their weapons, as well as Elyaan. This was to be the only way to stop Kael’thas’s madness, and to return home to Azeroth. Voren’thal walked into the temple, and Elyaan watched as he got down on his knees. The massive Naaru, a vision of beauty, peace and grace approached the Elf. “I've seen you in a vision, naaru. My race's only hope for survival lies with you. My followers and I are here to serve you.", spoke Voren’thal. With that said, the Blood Elves joined them, and were now united under a new banner, by the name of the Scryers. Elyaan joined the other magisters and scholars at work in the Draenei sanctuary, but with fierce rivalry with their Draenei neighbours, the Aldor.

Soon after, Kael’thas was defeated in the Naaru Fortress of Tempest Keep. However, a message was sent to Shattrath: Kael’thas had barely survived, and had renounced his loyalties, for he now served under the Legion. With the also recent defeat of Illidan Stormrage, the Aldor and athe Scryers finally found common ground. Both of their enemies were now one, and under the lead of the Sha’tar, they became a new unified faction named the Shattered Sun Offensive. News had also reached Shattrath soon after, that Kael’thas had kidnapped Mu’ru from Silvermoon, with the assistance of his new elves, Felbloods. These things, and Kael’thas himself, had all become abominations. Intel reports had also said, that the prince was to reignite the Sunwell, and bring the end of Azeroth in the form of summoning Kil’jaeden. Elyaan could not let this happen; she was not to lose the remainders of her home.

The Silvermoon Blood Elves had cut off their loyalties with Kael’thas, and Silvermoon sent units to assist with the defeat of their previous prince. The Shattered Sun Offensive landed upon the shores of the Isle of Quel’danas, and the fighting was brutal. Demons, Blood Elves, and many more perished during that event upon the isle. Inevitably, the Shattered Sun Offensive was victorious and halted the summoning, as well as ending Kael’thas’s life for good. Now, Elyaan had lost all feelings for Kael’thas which she previously had. Velen, the Draenei Prophet, brought the Elves salvation at last after this bloodshed. Their race slaughtered the innocent Draenei, even if it was under Kael’thas’s banner, the Prophet gave them hope and forgiveness. With the Sunwell reignited with the spark of Mu’ru, Quel’thalas flourished once again, and Elyaan finally returned to Silvermoon, and her people had joined a new allegiance with the Horde, which brought them even more good fortune.

Yet, ever since the restoration of the Sunwell, Elyaan felt something different. She was not given invigoration by arcane energies, but they were holy this time. She felt a new connection to them, and began studying this sort of magic, but could not find enough sources to study from. Many months later, news had reached Silvermoon that the Horde's stronghold of Orgrimmar had been attacked by the Lich King, the very man who murdered her family. She had heard of something else, a faction of light wielders had formed to spear head the assault on Arthas, the Argent Crusade. She thought of no better place to learn more of this holy magic, and ventured to Northrend. Upon arriving there, she set up temporary residence in the newly relocated city of Dalaran. When she left Silvermoon, she resigned her position of the Shattered Sun, as she was to pursue something new. Eventually, news had reached Dalaran of the Argent Crusade’s final assault on the one who had destroyed her loved ones. Elyaan enrolled into the Argent Crusade, and assisted in the siege of Icecrown Citadel. The Crusade had reformed for their final assault though, becoming the Ashen Verdict. The time was nigh, and the Verdict’s efforts, as well as assistance from the Horde and Alliance, ended the tyranny of the Lich King.

From that day forward, Elyaan resided in Northrend, honing her magical skills as well as learning from the Crusade. She had mastered two forms of magic, and became a follower of the Light. From now on, she was not just a mage, but had priest like qualities too. She refrained from going down the darker path of fire and shadow, and mastered her magical skills to become a very worthy fighter. She still feels pain till this day of her missing family, she longs for them, but she had done her best to avenge them.
