Why don't Blizzard just reduce the range of the shaman's shock spells (the range they used to be) so hex can be on the same range level as your other spells? Shamans have 3 viable specs in both PvE and PvP, I don't see a reason to buff them further?
By the way, did you watch the MLG? Shamans had all three specs present there as the only class?

Whilst you may disagree with it, your option is not to post, his options are perfectly fine. He wants opinions on how to make it better, so if you dont think it needs to get better then dont vote and open up a new thread. Why is there always people like you who come onto threads and start trying to make you sound like some badass over the internet.

As for the thread, I play a shaman, mage, rogue, pally, priest. All at level 80. Hex is what it is. A long CD spell with limited use. It makes the difference in an arena game at any rating, which someone said, but so does everysingle spell/abiltity in the entire game if used at the right moment. Usually id be one to say " if you want to have better CC then roll a class that specialises is CC, Rogues/Warlocks/Mages.... but in the case of an Enhance Shaman, having your only CC on a long cast whilst being in melee range of the other teams melee is so easily interupted, and then put on a 45second CD I think is not balanced enough.

On a side note, Priests also have Mind Control. Deadly, if used appropriately, like hex. Mind control + Blades Edge is godly.

Stop playing at 1800 bracket and you will not be able to use Mind Control lol

Your DR-Times are off. Sheep and Hex both have the same DR-behaviour. They are even on the same DR-timer. And every DR works like this: Full, half, quarter, immune. Which, for both sheep and Hex, means that they go 10, 5, 2.5, immune. Only with Hex you usually do not notice it, since the CD is longer than the DR timer. Note that this does not make Hex a bad spell. I find it really strange that people always notice the things that other classes have that have an advantage over their own spells, but never the things that they themselves have, that the others don´t. A shaman is not a mage, so a shamans CC does not need to be the same as a mages.

Hex has no DR, hence why it's so long a cooldown. If it had a DR, no one would use it after the first time. >.>

In my opinion, they should have given cyclone to shaman in BC and not druids.
