Why do people leave BRD right after the arena?

Every time I run the place people leave after the prison or the arena which is pretty annoying since the dungeon is so big and the XP is so good. Whats the point of leaving? For a bag? You'd be better off staying with the group and getting the bonus loot and XP...

Because the bag gives nice cash and a nice item.
Because BRD's easy part ends at the arena

    AND most important:

because BRD's entry level is ~53
and the upper bosses have a level of 56? 57? or higher?
way too hard, to do the whole instance.

    That's why it's divided

I think it's because running BRD through LFG is similar to pulling teeth. The instance is far too long, whether or not you receive the bag is extremely buggy, and nobody can ever agree about which bosses to do or skip. Even if you know the instance inside out, you constantly have to deal with idiots telling you that you're going the wrong way, as if the instance were perfectly linear. In many cases that's just too much aggravation.

I agree with you more XP and loot, but what i run into is people not having the key to unlock the door
I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

On the alt I am about to finish leveling, have queued for BRD since it became available, done it (until the bag) around 10 times, and got a group that was willing to finish it for the achievement (plus the good xp, etc) once, it took us alot of time tho, and the problem is: if someone leaves u cant requeue because u have already gotten the bag.. so u cant get new ppl go keep doing it, at close to the end we done in 4 ppl.
was nice tho, and I got alot of awesome gear for my level. haha

Atleast for tanks and healers who have instant ques, you mostly get a higher xp/hour for just leaving and requing.
    Atleast thats my experiance.

Of course nobody has the key, because who the fuck levels in this area?

But I'm wondering, do people actually know how to open the Door in the Bar?

Actually getting the Shadowforge Key yourself is pretty worth it. A full clear of BRD and I can get over a level.

and a full head of grey hair, if you do a full run with 4 random guys.

On all my alts I go as far as everyone will go and ask at the beginning to skip the loot bag boss so we can requeue if someone drops. I also hate the instance and the second I hit 55 I am running to Ramps for 7 run-throughs to ding 58 and start the easy grind to 80.

Not often. Most people seem to mill around hoping someone else does, or they're like the rogue in one recent group who pick-pocketed Plugger, aggroed the entire room and wiped the group (and had no idea what caused the aggro). WoWHead helps refresh the memory nicely, though.

I will say, some of my more enjoyable lowbie runs lately have been a decent group doing most/all of BRD. That place is great for grinding out XP if people vaguely know what they're doing.

I've ran it several times all the way through. It's just a matter of finding a good group.

And it's not "too long". It takes 1-2 hours. Boo hoo.

Clear the room of mobs then wait for the patrol to come and open the door.

Or do the quest for the Succubus. Or give booze to the Private What's-his-face. Or pickpocket the gnome.

    There's quite a few ways.

only time i go there is when i'm escorting using the dark mole machine emote

rogues there SHOULD be able to pick the lock on the doors if they aren't fail and have 250 skill (who am i kidding, let's assume they are)
-talk with the dead guy down the path behind the summon stone if you're a ghost, then get the hammer and take it to an area above the arena for the key

-to open the door either have someone who's done nagmara's quest, use 10 dark iron ale to get dwarfy drunk, or (the dumbest idea unless you're escorting) have a rogue pickpocket the barkeeper, sprint over to the door, open it, and have everyone run through the door before the barkeep yells "hey, my pockets have been picked!" and turns the bar aggro on.

Wait a few levels and queue for Upper city. Problem solved?

  17. #17
cept Upper city takes you to the start of the instance and like stated before the chances of ppl having the key isnt very high.

Because actually finishing BRD takes waaaaaaaaaaaay too long.

Also, I think I'm still not recovered from four years ago when my first character had to run the place appoxiimately a bazillion times for Windsor and fire resist and all the quests that you never had the time or ability to complete without multiple trips.
