I remember collecting all the items and having to "Tame" my mount in a demonic ritual. It was one of the best times I had in WoW. Really made you not take your mount for granite. At the time it was between 7-1200 gold depending how many items you had to actually buy. Let me tell you that was a lot of gold to spend at that time. Now you train your mount. If they made it a huge quest line that was epic for each class again for a new style mount to fly in Cataclysm I wouldn't be opposed but if not use one of the 140+ mounts in game IMO.

Don't really like the charriot ideea, doesen't feel very warlockish.
Probably the best thing would be the demonic wings or something similar. Though if we would get this, then everyone will start to cry that it's not fair and Blizzard would end up having to make a flying mount for every class. And then the QQ will start that the other class has a way better mount and etc.
Unfortunately it's way more simple to just not give this

I love the idea of a "partial metamorphosis". You cast <insert spell name> and you fuse with your inner demon bursting purple wings from your back and after jumping you can fly in exactly the same animation as meta does when your levitated.
