(Bug) Keybined Mine Freeze doesnt work in combat until clicked

I was in a BG a few minutes ago before my server when down.

And I tried to dive deeper into this Mine Freeze keybine issue.


So I tried spamming it outside of combat, to see if the key would flash like it should. Well That functioned just fine.

But then I tried the same test while in combat, and notice that it wouldnt activate nor flash while I was in combat.

Only way to get the keybind to work is by clicking the action first, then the bind would start working afterward as intended.


Just wondering if anybody here dont mind, but could you report this issue on the Main Forum.

I think I'm missing something..
I haven't been having Mind Freeze issues as far as I know.
(experience based on PVE usage)

It's a ui bug. Update your addons.

Would you mind providing us with more information ?
What exactly is the keybind ?
Do you use Blizzard default UI ?
Do you use a certain addon to manage your action bars ?
Do you have a gearscore of 6k+ ?

Stop using a shitty bar addon, with bartender it works fine.

Mind Freeze does have an inherent "lag" to it, where one may hit their keybinds and it won't go off. Then again if spamming the key for awhile and it still doesn't means that your bar addon is infact shitty.

Agreed. Known bug. Had blood boil frozen up like that last night.

It happens. Log completely out and back in, and it should fix it.

The one good thing about the mind freeze lag is that it can fail to interrupt a warlocks fear but then stop the chaos bolt that comes right after it while you're feared. The same applies to fake casting, it has interrupted the next spell for me many times.
