Ban gearscore from mmo champion (petition)

To the fine moderators and administrators of mmo champion,

In the interest to improving the quality of the conversations and safe guard the sanity of some of this forum's members, the users who post "/sign" in this thread and I request of the following:

1) Ban gearscore as a topic of discussion.

2) That moderators would lock or delete gearscore threads as soon they are discovered.

3) Make the act of starting a gearscore thread or derailing a thread to be about GS a bannable offense.

To add: No, I don't hate the mod, I hate the stupidity that comes from talking about it.

I have to say to the trolls and idiots posting in this thread: thank you for proving my point, I cannot ask for a better example!

That would set a scary precedence, what it people started making loads of posts about people whose forum name is I stand in fire and someone makes a petition to get any mention of this I stand in fire guy locked deleted and banned. Imagine what would happen to said forum user...

agreed, Gear score is also a good indication of Gear, gear being quite a big part of wow, i would say its quite unreasonable to censor it out of the website

The problem is that a lot of people here don't have the maturity to handle it. It may starts out as civilized discussion, but eventually idiots and trolls on both sides of this argument turn into a QQ/flame fest.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with GS. To get a GS of 5000+ in this game is absolutely laughable. If you cant be bothered to get over 5000 before you want into an ICC group you don't deserve to be there. It would be different if they were requiring 5500-5900 for ICC10 or 5200-5400 for VoA10, but no one is really doing that unless they are a clueless pug leader you don't want leading you anyways.
