Hey there,
I'm kind of new to doing arenas with my hunter and I was curious of what pet to get for my 2v2 team.
For the most part I am partnered with a feral druid, and at the moment I'm using a spider that I was using for BGs. I played with it for 10 games and it helped in certain situations, but I wasn't sure if it had the best utility for our comp.
Anyone have a better suggestion for a potential pet for my team?
Edit: Forgot to say I'm playing as MM

Crab, since intervene/roar of sacrifice are amazing.
You can tell WoW changed the MMO for good when players started complaining about the amount of time they sink, into a time sink.

Spider has roar of sacrifice, but also has roar of recovery, if you find yourself going low on mana before the fight ends, I would suggest a spider, otherwise a crab

crab/spider is normal tbh...
if your BM then I think that's the only time when pets get interesting.

Crab/Spider, also Ravager is quite good for the knockback on a short CD.

crab or spider for me I prefer the crab because intervene is OP but thats just me.

Crab has melee root. Spider has ranged root. Overall they don't matter, but spider can root something if it isn't in melee with your root target in a pinch.
Crab all the way however.

Spider can be dispelled. However, crab can be stunned since he has to channel it. Both have their ups and downs, but crab has intervene too. Originally Posted by -Dodge-

Nothing even comes close to the ravager pet. Crab and spider snares are meh. 4 second snare VS 2 second stun - untrinketable knockback effect that interrupts heals, dps, everything.
