go get your greatness card changed, it's only ilvl 200 = low gs

Most half-serious characters have "a bit over 5k" anyway these days so lets keep it there.
Never done the fight, but from what I read on mmo-champ, it's mostly about tactics/control, not a DPS race, so that makes it less gear dependant.

It is seriously a stupidity check. From what I remember there is no real enrage timer, your basic job is to not get hit by fire and epic purple lazer beams.

That being said, I will be running it solely with guildies due to the sheer amount of fail that pugs bring to the table.

The minimum gearscore is a mere 3k. Feel free to organize trade pugs with that requirement, you should do perfectly fine.

5.7k GS + i would think, so full 264 basically for the 25 man version

if your raid is bad you can always bind your hyperspeed accelerater to your hearthstone.

Most likely people on PTR didn't use the GS to recruit seeing how the premade characters had GS on pre-ICC level
