seeing as alot of rogues and warriors use them is it worth using them as a kitty?

Can't hurt. The biggest thing is getting the timing down. They have no GCD but they require targeting so you can't macro them with other abilities (easily anyways). I use them for aoe tanking sometimes, mainly at the start of a pull if I am rage starved.

I use them for my pally and occasionally as an extra aoe as a moonkin. I can't see why you couldn't use it as a kitty.
