For those that wanted to read the original post A really quick summery as it was very lengthy initially.

Raiding has become a joke when compared to prior expansions. Everytime something appears to be a challange they nerf it into the ground. IE PVP fight in ToTGC, and ICC buff (this is the main reason of this post) What ever happened to the days of at least spending a few weeks on a single boss. Hell on my Realm, the LK was downed ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT!!! thats a sad day. Oh and Pugs Clearing ICC 25 man the final tier of raiding is also another sad day in WoW raiding History.

Well really is it that much to ask to actually have a boss "mean" something in the terms of that feel of acomplishment when you down the boss, which WOTLK has totally lost. As one person said, oh we down'd them now who's next? Is what most feel. Compare that to those that would jump for joy when (excuse spelling) when Illidan was taken down for the first time in really any given guild. To say you had cleared BT (Prior to the 3.0 Patch) The epic feel of the high tiers of raiding just isn't there any longer.

Nothing to see here folks, nothing that hasnt been said countless times before. Stop beating the dead horse, yes raids are easier, Blizzard can't make everyone happy so theyve decided to focus on keeping the majority happy, the casuals.

Before I begin, don't start the "don't be an elitist jerk" attitude. This post is totally subjective to each individual and I am only asking for options on the current WOTLK Raiding Content.

With that being said, as if this expansions raiding hasn't been easy as can be now as it is being that it is tailored to the casuals. They continue to nerf it into the ground to the point where Pugs are clearing 25 ICC Heroic which I believe is truely sad. With this buff to ICC they have turned what used to be a challenge (In BC) into a game that any monkey could clear. Now adays if your not clearing at least ICC10 Norm, then that would indicate a truely fail guild considering the ICC buff.

I understand that they don't want it to where only 5% see the end game content. I understand this part, but to make it to where it is so simple that prob well over 75% is not only seeing it but fully clearing it without even breaking a sweat. Not only are they easy, the mechanics of the bosses isn't even that difficult (Example KJ in The Eye of TK from BC) Fighting the weapons and all the sub bosses etc was a pain. Or worst yet Lady Vaush.

Is it truely too much to ask to ask for 1 single raid that is behond challanging. Not many even saw the end of BT let alone sunwell (I got through to second boss of Sunwell prior to the 3.0 patch)...So make it so that all but the very *final* raid fine but make the final one that not any idiot monkey pug can complete without actually breaking a sweat.

Ok enough of my rambling, i'v vented what I needed to lol........

Yo, There's heroic mode. Yo there's the option to turn off the 'optional' zone buff to your raid. Yo, where's your bane of the Fallen King title?

Your missing the entire point, as soon as heroic came out, it was quickly defeated quickly. I mean really even in heroic the bosses are not "HEROIC" you'd think then that they would at least be a challenge.

Clearing icc25 heroic involves killing heroic lk, which I can assure you, pugs have not done, and neither have you for that matter. Until you have, you don't get to call raids easy.

You can compare KJ and Vashj with The Lich King (HEROIC!!!).

If you haven't completed this, you shouldn't complain.. Of course, there is some easy parts of ICC heroic, but there is atleast 5 encounters that is really a mess if you haven't the right people (Lady deathwhisper, saurfang, pp, sindragosa and Lich king).

You shouldn't even compare ICC normal to any BC raids because the burning crusade raids were designed to be hard, that's not ICC normal.. So please, stop the whining.

I have to agree with you. Doing Wrath raids didn't give me a sense of accomplishments as TBC did. In TBC when you finally killed a boss you were excited and pumped. In wrath its just like: "Ok, hes dead so who's next?". You don't even really see guilds post first kills of every boss on their sites now. I also see the whole badge system at fault also. I mean buying tier gear with badge took the whole "holy shit I got sweet tier gear and I feel leet now!" feeling out of it. Now everyone can get it easy by just running heroic 5 mans for badges. But that's just what I think.
