if an elemental shaman(me) is doing 2s with an affliction warlock should i use a dps trinket like muradins spyglass or a battlemaster trinket? already using a medallion, just wondering what would be good for a 2nd trinket.

without doubt the battlemaster becuz of his life saver and you are not playing with a healer..... alone reason.....

Iv played that set up with a friend (not at all serious) but I was the main kill target 99/100 times. Based on that I would go for the BM trinket or even the corroded skeleton key if avilable to you
