It will only be used in emergencies, such as pulling someone on low-health away from a boss who has a short-range aoe for example. In regard to "some d-bag pulling them away", it's up to you to ensure either to not get a d-bag, or do something about them in the event that you do get one.

As the little WoWWiki description says, I think it also will be mainly used in PvP and that people will be kinda /care in PvE. Ofc it will help there aswell.

Its probably going to be about as rare as a paladin DI'ing some as it will be to get this moved abused like that, I wouldn't worry about it.

I will personally only use the spell as it is intended and probably never on a tank unless a boss fight calls for it....and then theres you, OP. I will find you, make a priest on every server you are on, join your guilds, and life grip the shit out of you, and only you. Just to see waht happens =]

You act as if there aren't already other spells that can mess with you while tanking.

- Hand of Protection on you out of nowhere would wipe the raid?
- Thunderstorm/Typhoon/Blast Wave sprays everything you're trying to tank in all directions?
- Pretty much every DPS class overnukes and doesn't care?

Actually, I never use LFG when I tank, I have a guild to do that stuff with. Please, continue on like you know what you're talking about, though. I could use some more entertainment.
