Frost DW dps Weapons

Hi all,

I'm opening this thread because I heard a lot of different opinions about which are the best weapon setup for a DW frost DK.
I'm currently playing with a slow weapon on main hand (bloodvenom blade) and a fast weapon on offhand (Scourgeborn Waraxe).
My question is: are strykes from abilities (suck as Obliterate, Frost Stryke, ecc ecc) based on main hand weapon, aren't they?
So, except Threat of Tharassian hits, a fast weapon on offhand is still better than playing with two slow weapons?
If I'm wrong, should I equip a Nighttime or some lower dps but slower weapon?

Because of Threat of Thassarian, all our strikes will now hit with both weapons. As such, you will want to get weapons that have the highest possible average damage. In most cases, this means looking for a slower (>2.5) speed weapon.

Sadly, Nighttime will do more DPS than the Scourgeborn Waraxe, because of ToT.
