Rawr is actually saying that the ArP Trink from NToC5 is more of a DPS increase than both the Scorpion and the Mirror. The Banner of Victory.

That's unsurprising, considering that both the Mirror of Truth and Needle-Encrusted Scorpion only have a chance to proc off of critical strikes. The Banner of Victory is simply a chance to proc off of attacks, so you get much better up time.

Changing the settings in Rawr so you only have the Retribution Paladin self-buffs (Improved Might, Sanctified Retribution, Swift Retribution, Heart of the Crusader), the target type as Other (for the target dummy), time below 20% as 0%, fight length as 5.0 minutes, assumed latency of 250ms, and the priority you said you were using, I get 4963 DPS for your gear; if you were at 4.5k, you aren't a huge amount off.

Not to say that what you're doing is in any way correct, of course.

ALSO: Ret paladins are extremely dependent on buffs for their dps, being in a 10 or 25 man with full 10/25 man buffs will boost your dps on a 5 min. boss fight considerably.
